In the mid-1920's our papermakers succeeded in developing
a base paper for the diazo copy technology (blue prints) which
was new at the time and had been primarily advanced by the KALLE
company.
H&E and blue-print base paper are a worldwide synonym for
quality and today H&E is a leading supplier in this specialized
field with an annual output of 20.000 tons.
Alternative technologies have been competing with diazo copy
for 20 years now, but it remains the least expensive and most
accurate large size reprographic technique.
